I see so many gramatical errors when I browse through these questions. One person put quotation marks around the word yellow when describing the color of a rose. The level of ignorance in this country is very frightning. It is no wonder that other countries look down upon us and view us as simple buffoons.

You read my mind. Sometimes, you can tell the person writing does not speak English as a first language, however it really disappoints me when someone with an American education cannot speak or write their own language. There is no excuse unless that many people have learning disabilities. If that is the case, the school systems need to take a little extra time to make sure students are learning to speak English correctly.
