I think it is normal because you have become attached to the person and it shouldn't ever feel good that you have hurt someone. You know? Hopefully, you would feel bad because you hurt someone else. However, that does not mean that you should get back together if you were not happy with her. You know? But if you miss her, then maybe you are realizing that there is more to life than just partying and the drama that it brings. Maybe you miss her and care about her.....You are the only one who can figure that out.
Just think about it and give yourself some time to figure out what you are feeling and why.
Good Luck!

You sound like a very sweet guy to feel bad for hurting your ex, however, rest assured that you did the right thing. Your ex is obviously very jealous and has low self esteem and until she grows up a bit, your relationship could never get better. Have fun and enjoy your youth and date lots of girls! You will know when you have found the right one. You have PLENTY of time.

It sure is. It's called empathy. You don't want to see or cause another human being to feel pain. But in this case you need to put yourself first. You need to get away from her if it's not a good situation for you. Just be strong. She will get over it in time. Don't stay with someone because you don't want to hurt them. It would be an empty existence for both of you. I've put off break-ups because of this and it was a waste of time and effort.

If i were you, i would feel bad too. But then again, why would you want to be in a relationship where one doesn't feel for the other? It has to be mutual in order to work. If she really does love you, she should understand what she is doing upsets you and she should try and limit herself from "suffocating" you. You've probably heard this before but only time can heal things like this.

yes it is normal, but sometimes things happen for the best, and it´s better to stop a relationship on time thannto just let it continue because you can both get even more hurt.
