It would be fine Sera. My children have chosen a different denomination than I and some are spiritual but do not choose to join a religious group. We cannot make our children believe as we do, that would be wrong...it has to be their choice.

I have not faced that yet, but I have had children than have rebelled against religion, and although they send their kids to Sunday school they do not go with them.
My granddaughter says that what PKs do.
For those who don't know, that is a preacher's kid.
I have great grandchildren now and I take them to Sunday school while I am in church.
The great-granddaughter goes home and tells her parents everything they taught her in Sunday school.
They deserve it.
Although I am of the same religion as my parents, Christianity, I am not of the same denomination of Christianity as my parents.
They were Presbyterians and when asked if they were saved, they would say, I hope I have been good enough.
Wrong answer.
Salvation has nothing to do with works.
Although works has something to do with salvation.
Works cannot save you, but a saved person will do good works.
That is why I chose the Baptist church.

If my children decided to follow any religion I would be very concerned. Not to mention a failure as a parent. I want them to grow up thinking for themselves and making decisions with thought processes and education.

Depending own ones age. If you allow your child to make his or her own decision and is not capable of making own decision, you will get the cause and effect of that wrong decision, It is a parents responsibility to do right for their children, You will get the cause and effect of the wrongs that you allow,And for the rights that you choose, God bless the USA and Israel and All,,,

It is their decision not mine. As my parents respect my decision to be a Muslim, I would respect his/her decision to follow whatever religion they wish.

I WANT my kids to find their own way, just like I did. I want them to be happy and if they are happy being a Muslim or Hindu or whatever - I will be happy for them. Period.

My children are encouraged to choose what's right for them. If it's different from what I think, that's ok.
