sometimes when I have had a bit too much to drink?

Yeah I know I have to cut down and the fact that I can't remember certain parts of a recent night out highlights that. Just curious as to why this happens when you drink too much. P.S. I only drink with people I completely trust in a safe environment.

That happens to almost everyone now and again. Don't worry! Instead of saying drink less (that's none of my business), try to get more vitamin B, either from food or pills. Memory loss after drinking can actually be caused by lack of this vitamin.

The gas in drinks is usually ejected from the body by means of gaseous interchange ('Nurse Nancy's Magical Cures for Miserable Boo-Boo's' definition for the mentally challenged: farting) but because the adrenaline inducing chemicals in alcoholic drinks makes you so hyper that your body is unable to control itself (for example, doing the toilet where you oughtent to etc.) the wind is unable to escape and goes right up to your head, where your brain makes room for it by deleting your most recent memories.

This also ensures you don't feel embarrassed about what you got up to until some friend kindly enlightens you.

. Because Alcohol impairs your thinking and your reflexes! Over a period of time it will damage your brain cells so badly that you won't even remember your address. I have had a very sad experience with alcohol. My mom damaged her liver so badly from drinking that it killed her and trust me she had a horrible death . I am not trying to get on a soap box and preach to you or anyone but you should know what it can do to the human body!

Alcohol impairs the mind and sight. Perhaps you should try slowing down on the drinking.
