i have a heart condition and ive always found an interest in cardiology... so help n e one?

In the US:

4 years college
4 years medical school
3-4 years of Internal Medicine specialty (residency)
3-4+ years of Cardiology subspecialty (fellowship)

Let's see...First, you have to be accepted into medical school. That takes four years. After that, you have to do an internship and residency, which is about four more years, then you'd have to get specialty training for cardiology, which I believe is another two years. All told, you're looking at a decade to become a cardiologist.

5 to 6 years in school and then 1 1/2 to 2 as an intern.

4 years of college
4 years of medical school
3 years of internal medicine residency or pediatric residency (this includes your 1 year of internship--remember the 1st year of residency is called your intern year)
3-4 years of cardiology fellowship.

4 years and then there is the training after medical school which is another 2 years but it is not really school.

4 years in college in Pre-Med
4 years in medical school
and UP TO 4 years with internships and residencies.
