if u like each other then ask him to go to the movies its not that big a deal its just a movie but if u like each other u should just ask him out

If you are on speaking terms speak to him.
Invite him for a drink or to take your dog for a walk with you or something. You will be able to tell if he likes you from that. If he makes excuses then you know he's not so keen.
If you have done that, then try speaking to him about it. Maybe gently make the first move and see how he responds.
Don't put yourself under any pressure, if its meant to be it will be.
You don't mention your age but if you are young, don't rush into anything.

Send him a valentines day card - sounds corny but I bet alot of people get together this way.
Or if you have the csah send him a red rose on the hour every hour on the 14th - so romantic!

if you two get along well and all that,then stop being a chicken yourself and ask him out! there's no rules against the girl asking. If you really like him go for it.

Do you have any common interests ? Why not just suggest meeting up to do something together ? Movie ? Museum ? etc

You should try to talk to him first, maybe he juss likes you as a good friend. I recommend trying to see what his intentions are, once you are sure dont be afraid to make a move.
