Okay why are we (agnostics and/or atheists) treated like freakin satan by christians? They think if you're not christian your evil or something...I don't get it. I know agnostic and atheist is two major different things and they think we're all the same. My frustration is really building up. My family talks so bad about my cousin who is an atheist... It really makes me sad that if I told them I was agnostic they would talk about me like that. I took up for agnostics and said they aren't that bad same for atheists....My family replied they're all the same and gave an evil look. This really pisses me off and any christians reading this please don't say mean things about this I just want reasonable answers from people who know where I'm coming from.

its very difficult to be a religion so shunned by others. it was like what happened with the protestants and the catholics at one time.
agnostics say that if they had proof(proof that believe is really proof) then they would believe in god.
atheists say that no matter what they are going to be godless.
i could go either way, but either way, people think us as aliens in this land of god. what most bothers me is the pledge taht i have to say every day, and the moment of so called 'silence' that the government calls it, although all my teachers call it the moment of prayer(im in a public school!)
we are in a country that is here for freedom of speech, religion, and press, and if we cant have it that way, then whats the point of our constitution, and our government. its like people up until the mid-1900's, almost everyone was racist against african americans, im glad i wasnt born during that time because i would have hated to see all those poor innocent people be abused and treated like trash. it isnt fair, life isnt fair.
also many people follow the bible, and the bible doesnt like non-believers. if the bible told people to jump off a cliff on their 50th birthday, they would do it bet you. and do we know exactly where this book came from we so dutifully follow? nope. we probally wont ever. its like a bunch of robots following a leader they dont even know much about.
thats life. other than that, i dont know why we are trash in this world.

Well, hell is defined as the area which is furthest from God. Atheists don't believe in God, which puts us fairly far from him. We're also committing the one unforgivable sin: disbelief. So yeah, to real Christians we should be considered similar to Satan.

i'm agnostic and yes, it sucks! just because we don't believe what they do doesn't mean we are immoral. but try to ignore them(give them a taste of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"!)
