Indeed, the past is over.
Still, I would have to reflect in the future why I thought the way I did... this would affect many new theories I might come up with.
For the time being, I can only be certain that I exist.

Well, being a thinking, open-minded, questioning person who came from not knowing if there was really a God to studying with Jehovah's Witnesses, I would like to think I would recognize the truth when I heard it. I feel that I already have, but for the sake of this question, let's say I learn differently than I have come to believe. Would my life change drastically?
Probably not. I am by nature an inquisitive, open, forthright, hard-working, honest person. Some of the things one thinks of as character traits for serving God are instilled in all of us, just used more by some than others, and I do things naturally that others see as Christian. Maybe there are SOME things I do in my service to Jehovah that I wouldn't do if I found out evolution was the 100% truth, but by and large, I think I'd still be the same person, with the same habits.
Interesting question today! Thanks!

It will be interesting to see all the answers.
I don't think my life would change at all if it were to be known 100% that there is a god. I would still live my life the same way, with kindness and understanding.
It would be nice if we could all know 100%, maybe there wouldn't be so much judgment and war.
Good question!

Creationist, Evolutionist....
Giving the scientific explanation of why there's a rainbow does not make it any less beautiful or any less the creation of God.
So, no, my life wouldn't change. The more I study science (as did the monks, centuries ago) the more I marvel at God's creation.

Uhm I think my life would change a bit.
If it was known, without doubt, that there was no God, everything my life has been built on would be a lie. I think I would be mad and angry.
Eventually, I'd get over it. In the long run, I think my life would ultimately be the same. I would still be the same person, just without the faith.

No, i don't think i would change. i mean i fallow the bible well as far as i can tell and have read it, tells people to be moral honest obedient and punish people who brake laws and do evil things, even if i found out it was wrong i'd still stick to it because for the most part it's just telling people how to be overall good human beings.

No. I believe that God made man simply to show His love.
How He made us is irrelevent...creation...evolution... out of Poppin' Fresh dough...what's the difference? How He made us doesn't change His Truths one tiny bit.
It's pretty silly...and very human...that so many of us humans argue and nit-pick over HOW we came to be...and as a result get into fisticuffs with others and ignore WHY we came to be!

Evolution is made up of not just one theory, but many.
For example genetic drift, founders effect, genetic fitness, and adaptation. (along with many other components).
Evolution attempts to construct relationships to progenitors, so using the "Monkeys" is incorrect. But "Neanderthals" or "Australopithecus afarensis" is correct.
Know that we are in a constant state of change to adapt to our niche in this world. And we will continue to branch off and whirl into a new evolutionary paths. You cannot see it or feel it, but as a species, it is happening.

I don't really care how I got here,I just know that I'm here. I don't need to know the answer of where I came from. I do need to know the answer to the question of "What do I have to eat around here, I'm hungry as Hell".

I'd have a lot of questions for god. He'd have a LOT of explaining to do first before I'd jump on the bandwagon.
