I am not sure Bobby. We are supposed to love God above all else, but I am not sure I can do that.

Yes. To love anything more than God would be idolatry. That's the simple answer.
Furthermore though, we are commanded not to do so. Scripture says, anyone that does not love me more than their mother or father is not worthy of me. God is to be number one in our lives and to give that position to anyone other than God would be idolatry.

In Hinduism, I don't think so, because God is present in everyone. By loving everyone and showing them kindness, you are in essence loving God. I don't believe in a God who would want you to love him more than you love your family. Consider who needs your love more, an omniscient being, or confused mortals. But in Christian philosophy, you are supposed to be willing to leave your family to follow God. In Hindu philosophy, you go through stages of life: student, bachelor, family man, and sage. You are not expected to devote your life to God until you have lived fully and your children are grown and gone.

to be a disciple of Lord Jesus Christ, it is required of u to HATE ur direct blood relations and then to carry ur cross and follow HIM.
Its in Math14 or 15. (sorry 4 not bein sure).
It implies u to love your God more than anything.

YES IT IS. WE SHOULD PUT GOD FIRST IN EVERYTHING THAT WE DO. IF WE PUT HIM FIRST HE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST INCLUDING YOUR FAMILY. AS YOU PROBABLY ALREADY KNOW MAN WILL ALWAYS FAIL US (THAT'S INCLUDING OUR FAMILY) BUT GOD WILL ALWAYS HAVE OUR BACKS. SO YES WE SHOULD LOVE GOD MORE THAN OUR FAMILIES BUT WE SHOULD LOVE EVEN OUR NEIGHBOR AND ANY ONE THAT IS PASSING THROUGH YOU LIFE. BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE.

If they are your first loyalty, and you turn your back on God, or otherwise sin, then yes.

In truth, you really can't love them more. You can love them differently, though.
It's kinda like your kids asking who you love more, your kids, your parents, your dog, or chocolate? You love them differently
