Hardly. They may harass illegal whaling vessels but they are nonviolent. In fact, the only connection they have with terrorism that I know of is as the victim of a French government bombing in 1985. The ref. gives the history of the event and the shameful coverup by those responsible.

Many environmental protection organizations are called like that, but in the end they are almost always right. They have been called like this when they warned for chemical pollution, the use of CFC's, the global warming problem, etc, etc.In my opinion the real terrorists are those who don't want to listen to them because this would mean the must stop plundering mothership earth.

No, They are not!
However, they are very radical in their ways of hammering
through their message. They do stuff that get's interest of
media/ the press, very spectakular.
I do beleave they mean well but I don't allways agree with
how they behave. They take interest in Nature etc and that's
good.
The State of France treated them as terrorists though and
sank their boat RAINBOW WARRIOR AND KILLED A FEW
of the crew.. that was a state murder...
( if I recall it right the name of the boat is Rainbow Warrior, I think it was at a port in New Zeeland, the names of the french agents are known.. )
