I notice a trend here of people who are telling other people to "ignore" the Atheists here in Yahoo Answers. So if I become a member of your religion, would you suggest I "ingore" Atheists also?
Where else should I "ignore" Atheists. If I go to the Doctor and he or she is an Atheist, should I "ignore" him or her?
Should I "ignore" the Atheist who makes my dinner when I go out to eat?
Should I "ignore" the Atheist boss who might be trying to tell me what to do?
Should I "ignore" the contribution of Atheists who died serving in the Unitd States Military.
Should the US government "ignore" the taxes paid by Atheists, like they "ignore" taxing Churches.
Should I "ignore" recieving a pint of blood from an Atheist.
Should I "ignore" talking to an Atheist neighbor.
Should I "ignore" the Atheist who is at the bookstore where I would go buy a Bible.
Should I "ignore" the Atheist who wants to assist my wife delivering the next child she might be pregnant with.

only ignore people if they are saying something rude. Not only Athiests, but anybody that is being mean or rude. Otherwise we should listen to them. I think that is what is meant.

Hi, well, 1 i am a christian, 2, I never said I would ignore and Atheist, How I respect all people in all religion or non religion, however my belief is different. Yes I admit I have found alot who choose to ignore instead of showing acts of human nature of kindness and love no matter whom we are or where we have come from. We all come from all different walks in life,
How ever I will ignore those whom disrespect & slannder or put me or my family or freinds down, not because of being atheist, or christian, or muslim or what ever you may be.
sorry if you have been offended in anyways, I dont believe we should ignore anyone, unless in case of which i already stated.

Do Creationists have not something better to do of their lives than take a seat right here on Yahoo! solutions in the religion section and bash all varieties that don't compliment God? I advise, for each atheist answer or question you get, there are a minimum of 10 Creationist solutions... you notice what I did there?

I really don't care what someone's personal beliefs are, as long as they're competent at whatever they're doing. My doctor is from India, my car mechanic is a Baptist, and my dentist is an agnostic. If they tell me something, I'm going to listen.
Besides, if I ignored everything that I may or may not agree with, how would I ever learn anything new? Being close-minded is a sure sign of ignorance as far as I'm concerned.

I find it quite sad that people come to this forum, but then don't want to explore what others think and feel. They come only to have their own beliefs reinforced, and then they miss out on all of the fun. I hope the only things getting ignored around here are the trolls.

No, don't ignore them. it's their belief just like any other belief, i can't really speak of the people you said ignore them because i don't know the situation. but it's not right to ignore or belittle any group of people.
