How long is the gestation period?
What kind of foods should she be fed to ensure she gets all the nutrients she needs during her pregnancy and after during nursing?
How much excercise is needed, and should her excercise be restricted as her pregnancy advances?
What kind of complications should I be aware of that can happen during pregnancy?
What kind of place should I prepare for her to have her puppies?
What are the risks to the mother during pregnancy?
How do puppies develop and when should they be weaned?
Should I keep her and the pups separated from other dogs?
At what age should the pups be socialized?
What kind of behavioural changes can I expect from my dog during this time?
What should I have on hand to help during the birth and what can I expect during birth?
When should I bring the pups in for their first vet visit?

Thats just a few questions I can think to ask your vet... good luck!

I am guessing either the dog was out of your sight or you saw the dog tie with another dog. A dog has to tie to be pregnant.
2 weeks is to early to do a sonogram or xrays to see if the dog is pregnant. it is also to early to hear the heart beats.
The vet will more than likely ask you to come back in about 3 weeks.
In the mean time you should read up on welping puppies just to be sure to know what to expect. online or at your local library.
I found it was best to invest in an inexpensive stethescope. It can save a lot in vet bills and maybe your dogs life.
If there are puppies you will hear the heart beats in the stomache. They will be much faster than the mothers heart beat. When puppies are born. You can check the stomache to hear if there are any more puppies or if the mother is done.
