the reason the Bible says that Jesus was born from a woman was to fulfill Prophecy in The Old Testament, specifically in the Book of Isaiah.

Because Jesus had to be "begotten, not made". It is in the Creed of the church. Jesus had to be truly Human from the line of Adam. He could not be the mediator between God and Man if he were not born of a human woman and to be the Messiah he had to be Jewish.

I will not patronize you. Do not belittle God with the relevancy of man. Look to the a cloud free night sky and count the stars and realize that each and everyone has all the more worlds to support with their respectful light and warmth. Then look at your feet and understand your arrogance.

God used a woman, Mary, as the means to bring about His Son into the world because of two primary reasons.
The first reason has to do with the fact that Jesus Christ was God the Son, but also was fully man. As fully God, he could pay for our sins and face God's judgement for all of our sins. As fully man, it would make it possible for God to justly impute our sins onto him. If he was only God, then how could our sins be counted with him on the cross? If he was only man, how could he remain sinless and be a spotless lamb for the sacrifice for the sins, as well as face God's judgement and rise? See, for God to be able to count our sins on Christ, and for him to justly and fairly impute his righteousness to us, as God did Adam's sin on us, he had to be both God and man. Only such a person could intermidate between God and man.
The second reason is to fulfill prophecy. This is how God predestined to bring Christ into the world. The reason for this may be unknown. We do know though that this is how God choose to do it, so because of this, the method of bringing Christ into the world was the best way that God would be glorified.
God could have very well made Jesus out of dirt, but God wanted to show himself in a way that is like us. Born of a woman, he was fully man; and born of God, he was fully God. To be fully effective he had to be born of Mary. He wanted to do it this way for the same reason why he didn't cast himself down the mountain and let the angels rescue him. He didn't want to perform such a sign as to have people follow him superficially follow him. Any miracles appearance, such as appearing out of birth wouldn't have allowed him to be as assimilated into the human race as it would have if he was born.
so I guess that would be the short answer to it. But what do I know.
