how would i go about filing with the last check stub if it is possible?

ask the employer for copies of W2, you need them to file not pay stubs.

It's not reliably feasible to use the last check stub. Some of the tax prep mills were advertising that but you had to accept their refund anticipation loan at loan shark rates to get it.

If you lost your W2(s), you have to ask the employers for duplicate copies.
