I suggest matching earrings and necklaces for the bridesmaids to ensure they'll be in uniform for the big day. For the groomsmen, I suggest either cuff links, tie tacks or even personalized lighters.

groomsman are tougher, but for my bridesmaids I got them monogramed beach towels and their earrings for the wedding. I didn't want to do just jewelry cuz lots of people don't have the same taste and I know I personally never wear the bridesmaid jewelry again, so I wanted them to have something more functional, and everyone can use a beach towel! I got them on ebay actually and they are really cute! I also considered getting them spa bath robes with their initials monogrammed on them, but that was a little more than I wanted to spend considering I already had the jewelry. I think my fiance is gonna get his groomsmen packages of stuff from their fave sports teams like hats, t-shirt, etc.

I went to Claire's and bought matching earrings and necklaces. I am also buying them personalized champagne flutes. I was going to buy them some type of comfortable shoe to wear at the reception but it didn't work out. If they are wearing long dresses you can buy them slippers. The groomsmen are getting personalized beer mugs from things remembered. Hope that helps. I know how it feels to have all these things to do and trying to figure out how to get them all done!

i would go for something not so cliche. How much will they really wear robes and other little things.
Go for fragarances, for him and her. For example, DKNY- for him and her, Emporio Armani Remix, find a smell, which you can give to your bridemaids to wear on your wedding, and for the groomsmen to wear. That way you wont have all this differnt array of smells, you would have a strong scent coming for your bridesmaids and vise versa for your groomsmen.

I am getting my Bridesmaids white waffle robes and getting their initials embroidered on the pockets in my wedding color and I am giving it to them to wear during our spa day. I'm also giving them matching jewelry to wear with their Bridesmaid dresses. My fiance is getting his Groomsmen black, leather-covered flasks with their initials engraved on the center plaque.

I got my girls the jewelry they wore that day - bracelet & earrings, and slippers for the reception (I was lucky - my bridesmaids wore black, so I got them black ballet-style slippers). After a full day of being on their feet in heels, every single one of them said that it was a welcome gift!

Our groomsmen received cigar cutters. We got a box of cigars for free from the shop when we ordered them, so they got a cigar, too!

For my flower girls and ring bearers, my mom and I made teddy bears, either dressed like a flower girl or ring bearer (my nieces & nephews were very young, and loved them!!)

For the readers during the ceremony - best buy gift cards.

How about
*for use during dinner...get the girls pretty crystal champagne/wine glasses etched with their names and date. Get the guys beer mugs w/the same. Some places will etch directly on the glass or they will have pewter or brass plates on them to be engraved.
*Get each girl a "wedding day survival kit" and present in a cute little clutch, handbag or fancy gift bag consisting of clear nail polish, mints, tissues, mini hairspray, bobby pins, safety pins, tums...etc...they'll be ready for any emergency! Get the guys cigars w/a personalized label and a monogrammed shot glass...that way THEY'LL be ready for any emergency too!! LOL!
*Get each girl a gift certificate for a manicure or mini spa treatment...get each guy a certificate for a steak dinner!

If you have a Things Remembered in your area, check with them, they have TONS of items that are great for special occasion gift giving
Basically anything you do for them will be appreciated. Even though it's customary, I've never really expected a gift for the weddings that I was in.

I bought my groomsmen silver shot glasses with their initials. My wife got her bridesmaids some silver bracelets with their initials and our wedding date, and gave it to them when they went to a spa to get their hair, toenails, and nails done.

i bought my "girls" inexpensive necklaces from Claire's and also paid to have their hair done at the salon with me on my wedding day. My husband bought his groomsmen a leatherman....it's an all purpose tool, kinda like a swiss army knife.
