by Jan 31st you have not received your W2, call the employer and ask them if they have been sent. If by Feb 15th you have not received it, call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

Keep waiting. They were only due to be mailed out 2 days ago. Give the post office time to get it to you!

If you don't have it by this time next week, your first stop is your employer.

If they still don't have it to you by 2/28, THEN you can contact the IRS.

you need to report it the IRS. they still have time and if they do not send you a W2 then you can put in a substituion form using your last paycheck stub. but you can only do that after you have exhausted all efforts to get the W2. talk with the IRS they will get on the company. byt not before Feb 15

First off, do they have your correct addess? Second, it has to be postmarked by January 31st, so give it a couple more days. You might want to call the employer and double check if they have your current address. Unfortunately, the post office won't forward W2's.
