I am still waiting for two w-2s.; I have called and written the emplyers and have not heard anything back from them. is there a way to file with my ein number? and if so how do i get it? any help?

by Jan 31st you have not received your W2, call the employer and ask them if they have been sent. If by Feb 15th you have not received it, call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

Keep waiting. They were only due to be mailed out 2 days ago. Give the post office time to get it to you!

If you don't have it by this time next week, your first stop is your employer.

If they still don't have it to you by 2/28, THEN you can contact the IRS.

Pestering your employer before the due date is a waste of breath and ink. Just be patient!

They have until Jan. 31st to mail them. You should wait a few more days.
