Are you serious? The real meaning is what the first and third person said.
The sexual meaning is well you know...as a woman on top of a man taking herself to glory....THEY ARE IN CONTROL OF THE WHOLE RIDE THROUGH THERE AND BACK!!!

I think of being "on top of things" as making sure your bills are paid on time, getting to work a little early everyday, keep your scheduled apts and othings of that sort.
