I have 3 tattoos with some white in them. I am also fairly pale but the white shows up well on me. My tattoo artist said it depends and I would have to wait and see if it held. He said some people hold it great and others don't. I think it's just something you will have to try. My first tattoo with white in it is about 5 years old and the white looks just as bright as it did when I got it!

I would recommend getting mild shading around the snow flakes to really make them visible. The white ink will stay white as long as take care of it properly during the healing process.
If you go to a good tattoo artist he/she will have at least a few suggestions on how to make your tattoo work. If theyre good, no tattoo artist will go blindly into a tattoo, they will always give advice and suggestions no matter how good the original idea is.

I have A tiger on my stromach about 10 inches long 5 wide and it's a siberian tiger ie. white skin, blue eyes. To be honest I've had it for 5 years and the white is now just very slightly lighter than the skin but has and will not go yellow. the white has faded a tiny bit but u can see the difference from my natural skin tone which is white

My tattoo artist said he didn't like using white ink because it very rarely takes to any skin tone. Just have the snowflake tats shadowed with a bit of blue, your "pale English skin" should do for the rest:D(I have pale Irish skin:P)

That's cool. I just got a snowflake done yesterday after 10 years of wanting one and at least a year of searching for my "perfect" snowflake design. Mine is blue and purple, though. But it is on my back between my shoulder blades.
I can't answer your question about the white ink. I just thought it was amazing that I couldn't find but about 10 snowflake tattoos all over the internet and my artist said she had only done 2 in her 12 years of tattooing and here you are with basically the same scenario as me.

well my friend had this really colourful design with little whie flowers inbetween all of the rest of the really busy pattern and it looked simply great.
it did show up quite well but I am not so sure that it woudl have without the other colours there to show it off.
My boyf also got a white star tattooed on his arm, and it shows up good and dandy but it has a black outline.
I think the snowflake idea sound really cool.
I dont think it would show up really well, but Ithink that woudl be a postive thing. it would make it a bit special,

if you did it with a black outline it will show up better if you want it all white it will be kinda hard to see unless you get it done a few times white usually has to go on 2 or 3 times to get it to show up like other colors and no it will not fade to yellow but it will fade away as the years go by depending on if your tattoo artist uses a good quality ink like eternal, or millenium those are 2 of the best but as with all other colors except for blk it will fade usually between 3-10 years depending on ink. good luck on the tattoo sounds cool i never seen one like that if they are a decent artist and are not in it just for the money they will tell you a few different options like shadding behind the flakes, light blue in the flakes , and maybe a lil shadding in flakes they will throw out a cople of ideas to you and see what you like if they dont go to another shop where they care about their work and not so much the money.

I have white ink tattoos on my inner wrists and they look great, even if i do say so myself! Mine are just outline designs, so not big blocks of colour, but i have noticed they sometimes have a slight yellowish tinge to them. As for them showing up, i can see mine on the incredibly pale skin of my inner wrists, but they are very subtle. They have an appearance of pretty scars. Good luck with yours!

It will take and it should also have no problem showing. As far as fading.... all colors fade in time, just follow the basic guidelines... sun is a tattoo killer, so cover it up. And even after it heals throw lotion on it and take care of it. I have had sleeves for years and they still look good because I take care of them.

Yes. It will show, and It sounds like it will look good.
Many of the better tattoo artists can use shading and different colors, like a light grey, so the tattoo is more subtle looking.
