Any regrets are deleted. So I have none of those.

Gosh, I have so many proud moments....I was just thinking of one the other day, what was it....

Too bad. I answer too darned many questions to remember the highlights for more than a day or two.

But - on a recent BA, I found that I got 23 votes (so what if one was my own). I admit my hand flew to my heart and I was touched.

Oh! I remember now! I was particularly dazzled by my own wit in answering this question. I just cracked myself up. But maybe I was the only one. Not everyone finds humor in punctuation.

The question was:
What "one" sin will wreck your marriage?

My answer was:
Excuse me Sir. But I'm from the Department of Corrections, Unnecessary Punctuation Bureau.

I'm here to investigate your seemingly needless use of quotation marks around the word one.

Is that number in question here, Sir?

I always find the notion of pride an interesting concept. It suggests feeling good about oneself thus it is a selfish and egocentric attribute. How do I actually feel proud? Am I glad to be British? Certainly, I am glad I was born into a first world country, one which has many national cultural traits, most notably, and my favourite, our unique sense of self-deprecating humour, which no other country comes close to. But do I feel pride? No, that would be silly. It suggests a sense of superiority which can be traced to tribalism, and therefore racist. For the many things I like about British culture, there are things that I despise. Some examples: 1. The stupidity of a huge proportion of the population. Namely, those who buy tabloids every day and believe the hype, the fear-mongering, the hate-fuelled journalism, the bigotry. 2. The binge drinking culture. Any town centre across Britain is a no go area every weekend, with the masses going out and getting mindlessly drunk and getting into fights. 3. The fixation with celebrity - another element of people's stupidity but another nail in the coffin of the dumbed down populace. 4. The weather. Ok, not that important, but the perpetual grey skies can be so grim and depressing. 5. The over crowding, especially on the roads. 6. It's 'Special' relationship with America - a fallacy which means we give the US added legitamacy in terms of its violent and hegemonic foreign policy. We are more European in attitude and culture than we are American. Only a few examples there, I could name more. There are many positive things in Britain, too. My favourite being the National Health Servicve which is unrivalled throughout the entire globe, despite its constant bad press and the feeble attempts by the right wing Yanks to discredit it. We also have a rich history of literature, art, philosophy, inventions etc. But no, I do not feel pride. Britain is in a mess and is a shadow of its former self. Pride comes before a fall and is a deadly sin, if you are into your superstition.

No regrets. My best moment would be when I won 44 points in the same day. Maybe a small legacy, and that's in showing the truth about my religion, and refuting all the lies about it.

I don't know about the "proudest" moment. I have met many nice friends, that I enjoy talking to outside of this forum.

I did meet one man that I didn't understand enough of his religion(muslim) to talk to him. I tried to study, but wasn't quick enough in learning for him.

I don't know if that is a regret, but I learned that I need to study more...

The first time I ticked someone off enough for them to start stalking me. It was a crowning achievement.

I regret some of the times I was less than patient with others and didn't present the most intelligent response.

But not all of them.

My many characters have been deleted so many times; how could I possibly choose? No regrets, and I'm really happy to have met some of the people I've met here.

Getting thank you notes from others for the answers I have given and the questions I have asked.

When someone takes the time to write, it must have had an impact.
