Anything in a really heavy sauce is bad, chicken and ginger or chicken and vegetables is good, noodles are better than rice and sweet and sour is pretty terrible!
I usually go with a foo young and some noodles

If you're going to eat pizza, try getting a thinner crust and getting one with either just cheese or tons of vegetables. The meats that they put on pizza are heavily processed and contain most of the fat, so that's what you want to avoid. Getting a thinner crust reduces the ammount of carbohydrates you'll be taking in. If you're getting chinese food, stick to the steamed rice instead of the fried rice. Choose a dish like beef & brocolli, because at least there you're getting a whole vegetable and a meat (however ask them to go easy on the sauce). If you're going out for fish, ask to get something charbroiled instead of fried. That's not always an option, so if you're going to eat fried fish, skip the chips (french fries) and eat some veggies on the side. Most places will offer a side salad or if you have absolutely no choice, stick to the coleslaw because even though it's laden with mayonnaise, it's still at least a vegetable. It's really just about making better choices, you can eat healthier anywhere. Avoid things you know will be dripping with sauces or gravies, and try not to eat too many fried things. Also, if you're already eating something fried (like a breaded chicken breast) dont combo it with something else fried (like chips/fries). Also avoid the sugary soda pops. Even the 'lemonade' is FULL of sugar. And drinking your fat and calories is just sickening. Drink water or unsweetened iced tead (and you can add your own sugar and lemon). Cheers

plain rice? sorry guys i luv you but some times you crack me up. It has like noo protein what so ever, full of carbs, and turns into sugar in your body. But it might help an pest stomach. I don't know where you live but flame broiler is steamed everything with no MSG no frying and no fat added. and i believe they use chicken break. best bet, cause they are everywhere is pick-up-stick. they have a streamed veggie meal with chicken breast in this soy cause dressing. It also comes with plain rice. You can have it if you don't want to gain, it wont kill you, but if you are trying to loose (have your cake and eat it too, in this case this is a bad analogy :( ) then go for that. just read the menu closer. You would have more options if you went to a Japanese place though :)

perhaps something like the noddle soup for starter,
(it fills you up more ready for the main course)
then something like the chicken and mushrooms, with bolied rice
but to be honest as long as you don't have it all the time a treat now and again is fine just enjoy it and have a little of what you fancy!

I believe chow mein is the least "naughty" in calorific terms! Prawns are good to accompany it too. Enjoy! Prawn crackers are a big no-no if you're trying to be good. As are all the deep-fried dishes...sorry!!
