Hubby and I bought a used Durango yesterday afternoon. Since neither one of us are smokers this isn't a big deal, but now I'm just curious. Is it possible our SUV just doesn't have one?

Starting in either 03 or 02 most vehicle manufacturers did away with ashtrays in newly produced vehicles.

We just bought a 2007 Dodge Truck and it doesn't have an ashtray either. They aren't putting ashtrays in anymore in Dodges unless you request it, I think it is called the smokers package.

Need the smokers package kit and it will just be a ashtray that sets in a drink holder anyway.

I also have a 2003 Dodge Durango and there was no astray in it when I got it.They don't come with them.

It's located just above the cup holders. I have a durango too.

It's a pretty tight fit, and under spring tension from the wiper arm. It will come off.

if it is a newer durango then it won't have an ashtray but if it is old then it should!

I think smokers package is optional on most late model Chryslers, you might have to order one if you need it.

It is possible that you don't have one. The people who had it before could have had it taken out because they didint smoke.
