i have got my o.s installed from apirated c.d of xp professional sp2 which is not genuine,recently i got an original c.d of xp professional sp2 now how can i override this over pirated one without losing any of my data

Why would you want to over-write the pirated version?
Your pirated version works ok, doesn't it?
Why don't you just backup your data onto a CD or something?

simple, go to My computer and see the drive you want to format. then move the mouse over it and click the right mouse click. then choose format. BECAReFUL do not format the drive that has Windows on it. install the original Windows in a different drive and then delete the old one..,.
