I of course am wearing white with silver, my husband is wearing a black tux with silver vest and tie, my bridesmaids are wearing a peacock blue (5 of them) and my flower girls are wearing a light sage dress with white tulle, poofy bottom.( 4 of them) But i cannot find any peacock blue ties or vests for the groomsmen. Do there outfits have to match the bridesmaids?. Is there another option i can go to?... if you are unsure what color peacock blue is go to

No no no...you don't need to match the groomsman's tuxes to the bridesmaids! It will look like they are going to prom anyway. Just have the groomsman wear a slightly different version of what the groom is wearing. In other words, if the groom has a black tux and silver vest...have the guys also wear black tuxes, but perhaps a patterned silver vest or a deeper silver gray vest. It looks much classier that way, trust me! If you absolutely must have color...use it in the boutonniere.

Congratulations! What a great time - even if it is hectic!

I'd say your next choice is sage to match your flower girls.

You could also have your husband do a black tux with a white vest and tie and then have your groomsmen do the silver vest and tie.

Or you could have them do a black vest and tie to completely contrast against the silver.

Just some suggestions.

Good Luck!

SInce you are going with peacock blue, think of actual peacock feathers. they have hints of green and brown within them. So maybe if you cannot find blue vests that go with your bridesmaids dress you might want to try a dark green or brown. Even a lighter blue might look nice on the guys.
Best Wishes!

You could always have your groomsmen wear silver cumberbuns rather than vests....that way the colors would still coordinate, but they would be different from the groom's.
If they would rather wear vests...just go with either white, black or platinum gray. If they go w/silver, just incorporate some silver ribboning in the girls' bouquets to coordinate the couples.
The best thing is to keep an open mind...just play around w/colors and you'll find something! ;-)

My best suggestion is either go with black vests and keep your fiance in silver, the black will be a good neutral that will bend well, or you could put the groomsmen in silver vests and put your fiance in a white vest, or maybe even have him in black, as long as he's different somehow! example, my bridesmaids dresses are black, the vests are black, my dress is white, his vest is white!

i would say to match the groomsmen attire more to what the groom is wearing, perhaps getting a differently cut jacket for him than for them. to add in the blue to the groomsmens ensembales, have your florist use dark blue (sometimes called "electric blue") delphinium, it would be a nice compliment to the dresses or, match their outfits to the sage in the flower girl dresses to tie the whole group together

Hope this works...Looked like a similar blue to me, you'd have to check it out on a swatch to be sure:

If that didn't work, it's Vest style "Spectrum" at After Hours Formal Wear, in "Turquoise"

my only suggestion that's not like everyone else's would be to by white ties or vests and have them dyed the blue color that you like. You would probably have to go to a sewing shop or somewhere where they make dresses and clothes and see if they can dye it the color y ou like. If not, I'd go with the light sage color next.

My first inkling is to think that they could go with the sage of the lfower girls, but I think it may look better just to have all of them either match your groom with the silver, but cumberbuns instead or go with traditional black. Either way, have the boutineres with the peacock color, to coordinate them. I love your color scheme, it's different but very nice. Congratulations!

No, the colors dont have to match.. blue is a very easy color to mix other blues with. Maybe have the bootiners dyed in the peacock blue ? colors are fun to work with.. congrats and have fun
