Its okay, you do not have to go into your medical history, but then if I write anything here that may be contradictory to whatever it is that you have in your medical history, then I apologise..
Through the question, you have not mentioned even once, what it is that causes you to hate your brother, with all that violence a part of your anger. Ofcourse, its none of my business, but then it would really give us an idea why you are really angry. I feel, you have not gone too deep into the root cause of all your problems, and ofcourse you have a head injury, for which you should be under treatment, and which give you a mild to moderate depression. You have recognised you do have a condition, and here, you and only you can take an initiative and meet someone who would understand you perfectly. And that can only be done by a doctor / therapist / counsellor. No you would not be bothering them, its just taht you feel they would not understand you, and also that you are not accepting your condition on the whole, that you feel hesitant to see someone who may actually place a finger on the exact problem. You may be worried to deal iwth the truth, but that will pass once you start accepting what is wrong, and how best you can solve it.
So on the first instance, identify the root cause to all your disturbed relationships, behaviour, you know that whatever you are doing at the moment is not acceptable even by you, so take the first step and see someone who is there and a professional who can deal with your problems.
I really do hope everything gets okay for you. Everyones out there praying for you, and since you have take a step first to understand that you do need help, please do go ahead and make a complete change in your life.
good luck

You would not be wasting a doctor's time. That's why they became doctors. In fact, you would be giving them the opportunity to help you and that could lead to a way to help others with the same symptoms. The site of your brain injury can make a difference too. I hope you will first go to see a neurologist to rule out any physical cause for your troubles. If not, ask the neurologist what the next step should be.

From experience I can tell you that you would definetley not be wasting the doctor's time. Depression is a much more common condition than you think so don't feel embarrassed about making an appointment to discuss "a private matter". He or she may then refer you to talk to a counsellor. talking to someone who is not a friend or relative really helps. Good Luck

Hi, yes you can go to your Dr and I`m sure he would prescribe to you anti-depressents, however I think that you may benefit more from seeing a counsellor who will be able to work out in time where your frustration is coming from and why.
You certainly would not be wasting anybodys time at all, you must put yourself first and foremost...we are in this world for a very short time, you deserve to be happy.
Best of luck.

the only way that you will get then help you need is to go to the GP.
There are plenty of services that can help you, but your GP must refer you to them, and also may be able to help in the short term with some medication.
if you dont feel you can talk to your doc then write down how you feel and hand him the note when you go to see him. H will not dismiss you and will give you the support you need before things get worse or you do somthing that you will live to regret... get help now!
good luck

If you are feeling this frustrated, confused and angry then you NEED to seek help, before you do something more deadly. Most areas in the uk have mental health services, if you can't talk to your own doctor, get the phone number and call them. Failing that call the Samaritans, they'll know who to put you in touch with.

well i am not in uk, but i would say that you need to see a professional anyway, it sounds like you are having mood swings, plus a anger problem, and it is best to get that dealt with now, then to wait til something really bed happens.
