Yes, but I would ask for the official papers and transcripts. WHile you may not want them, a college or employer may.

If it's accredited and sanctioned by the state it's official.

Remember, if you're intending to go to College there will be placement tests for Math and English and those will have the final say in how good you did in homschool

You can also pay to take the ACT and SAT which will ALSO show how well you did.

You can also pay to take a Stanford or similar test at a school under supervision and THAT will show how well you did.

You can also pay to take the GED which is as good.

YOu can also enroll in an accredited on-line school taht grants diplomas and do a final semeister taking a few classes to qualify.

A lot depends. In NY for example, you HAVE to have a Dipolma or GED to go to even a community College. In California all you need be to go to community college is 18 years old or a high school graduate, whichever comes first.

Once you take a semesiter in COLLEGE you can rightlyfull put SOME COLLEGE or circle 13 on the employment applications.

Usually in order to graduate if you are homeschooline, I am too, you have to meet the graduation requirements of your state which is a certain amount of credits for each subject such as English, S.S., Science, Math, P.E., electives and foreign language. These requirements really matter if you plan on going to college.
