Why is NIMROD considered the first "WAR PRESIDENT"??

In the Bible Nimrod was the first man to raise an army and conquer other people. He is considerd to be the first man to build any type of empire, he is also believed to be the man who commissioned the Tower of Babel although the Bible doesn't say that. You can find out what the Bible says about him in Genesis 10 & 11.

I was unaware he was considered as such, but the name Nimrod means mighty hunter.
