The Angel of Death is the destroyer. He was the one that destroyed the City of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Unfortunately, very long. God keeps him very busy it seems.

Unfortunately we've proven in the 20th century that we do not need his services anymore. We're quite capable of doing it on our own. I hope he enjoys his retirement.
