I have a friend who is stationed at Aviano AB in Italy, and I am in the US. SHe has a cellular phone, and gave me her number, but everytime i look up the city code, it says the number is french. Is there something I am missing with cell phones?

I bet she has a GSM world-phone (tri-band) which is different from a US GSM cell-phone...she might have sims card from different european countries, hence her number changes...
