This traditional Navajo Prayer?

AS I WALK WITH BEAUTY

As I walk, as I walk
The universe is walking with me
In beauty it walks before me
In beauty it walks behind me
In beauty it walks below me
In beauty it walks above me
Beauty is on every side
As I walk, I walk with Beauty

I think this cuts straight to the point. Often simplicity goes right to the heart of a situation. In this case, right to the heart of where we should be as human spiritual beings.

Your thoughts?

There is a walking meditation of this prayer in the Dances of Universal Peace. In doing it, you become more aware of the Beauty Way by your movements and your breath--you can spread beauty and peace with this practice.

The heart is the altar of God, Whose Name is Beauty (Ya Jamil).

Nice sentiment, but God is not the universe, and the universe is not God.

Enjoy poetry and the natural world all you want, but the truth should never be sacrificed for the sake of simplicity.

At it's core, this passage reflects a false, pagan, animistic belief system.

I think all people should take time to realize that we are surrounded by beauty. We get so caught up in our daily lives of rushing around that we miss the most beautiful things around us that we should be grateful for.
