its great but you need a lot of ram and a good graphics card to run it properly

The biggest problem I had with vista, from the short time I had it on my puter, was that I couldn't right-click on the icons in the start menu, go to properties, and get the path that it's installed to. Most of the time you can just hold your cursor over them and get the path. Without this, it would be more difficult to know where stuff is installed so that I can modify the files within that directory.
I don't know why they removed that feature, or even if it's possible to re-enable it. I might make a question on this. If anyone has any ideas about this, let me know. Thanks.

Before you buy VISTA google the following
microsoft vista problems and issues
Then go to http//www.ubuntu.com and download UBUNTU (or order the cd).
It's free plus you get all the software that you will ever need FREE!!!!

Microsoft is Microsoft.....one new problem begets another. I suspect Microsoft is already hard at work on Service Pack #1 for Vista.
