those drinks are just espresso (really strong coffee) mixed with heated milk steamed so there's air in it to make it foamy. SO make some strong as heck coffee and heat up some milk (cream if you have it) until it's just starting to simmer. whisk it with a whisk or a fork to froth it up a bit. Add sugar to the hot coffee if you want it. Add chocolate sauce if you want a mocha.

A latte is nothing more than coffe and milk ( sweeener is optional) but you want to make your coffee a bit stronger than usual. A cappuccino my be a bit more difficult since you need to froth the milk.

place coffee( and sugar ) in a cup.add 1/2 small spoon of water and whisk it with spoon until creamy.add very hot milk

even better way:
place coffe (and sugar) with small amount of water in an empty plastic bottle.shake it,baby!add milk when ready
it is better than any mixer

You want one of these. http://www.aerolatte.biz/indexs.html. I bought mine from Whittard's of Chelsea at their shop in the Strand, London. It is hand held, battery operated and brilliant. Treat yourself to one! Come on, it's so small it doesn't really count as a coffee machine!
