I just wonder if this true, if the bible says Jesus is the last prophet, how can mormons believe in modern day prophets?

pinkadot, to answer your question, see the response from gwhiz1052. Jesus fullfilled all prophecy and is the end, there is no need for further propechy beyond Jesus Christ. She is right, the only prophet after Jesus will be the false one. Less time in the Book of Mormon, more time in the Bible, my friend. The King James bible, not the one your religious leaders have skewed to be in theme with their non-Christian theologies.

to respond to your question, John the Baptist grew to become into no longer the final prophet, as God has set them in the Church (examine 1Corin. 12:28). What Jesus mentioned approximately him grew to become into that he grew to become into the wonderful of them. There are prophets in the Church, the wonderful Church, it quite is, one which demonstrates the means of God by using using the presents of the Spirit (examine 1Corin. 12). unluckily, too many (maximum) denominations do no longer try this, who prefer to trivialize the certainty and say that those issues have been executed away with! in spite of the undeniable fact that, God does use the presents of the Spirit to those who're prepared, and, distinctly in those final days, the prophets that are warning the international of the selections to return.

And exactly where does the bible say Jesus is the last prophet? And where does it say he was "only" a prophet???
We believe in modern prophets as well as prophets during biblical times...how else would the Lord let us know his will?

The Bible never says that Jesus is the last Prophet. It actually teaches that his is the 'Son of God' born of the Virgin Mary. Mohammed was actually the Last Prophet.

No. He was God in the flesh and the creator of the universe. There are prophets today but their actions show if they are of Christ or Satan.

Note: Mohammad was a false prophet. Thus he was of the Devil.
