I don't think a person's age makes them an adult. It's all about the person's level of maturity. Some ppl are considered "adults" because of their age, but can act very immature.

18 is when you become an adult, so between about 18-22 i think they class as young adults, although lots of things on surveys for young adults have an 18-24 category!
