Imagine, if Satan never tempted Adam and Eve, they would've mindlessly pranced around in the garden, naked, forever and forever, we would've never existed. Due to Satan's interference, the cause and effect gave us a chance to exist! If not for satan disobeying God, if we did come into existence, we would've been ignorant worshippers, never experiencing anything but joy and sweetness, missing out on pain, suffering, and all that stuff that makes life more interesting.
Plus, without Satan, that guy you love, Jesus, would have never come into play, he wouldn't have been necessary. So really, you should have a little thanks for satan, not only for putting into motion you coming into existence, but also for causing the action to move Jesus into play.

It's all fiction. There is no God nor Satan. So, you can make up whatever story you want.

There were great temptations Satan used to try to beat Christ. Once he showed him the world and everything in it, and told him it would be his if he would only worship Satan --this was in the Garden of Gethsemane. He told Satan to "get thee behind me!" As He was being crucified, I imagine (just my thoughts) that Satan kept a constant whisper, "You don't have to do this!" Christ was tempted because we, all mankind, are tempted every day. He experienced what we would deal with. He truly knew mankind and what it felt like to be tempted. He overcame temptations to show us that we also can be tempted, but not succumb to the temptation. His Crucifixion, when God left him, he cried out, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" That was when Christ experienced what it would be to not have God and that was the greatest sacrifice ever. The triumph is that God will always overcome evil, and we are able to pray -- pray often and for forgiveness.

i would have been mad if i were serving god for all those years, and then these knew people came along which became his favorites over all the angels. Its kind of hard to blame him. God doesn't seem so fair and just does he. Of course i don't believe in any of that any way.
I also agree w/ you if there were no valleys in life, then there would be no peaks.

here is a better question.
If there is a god, and he is all knowing and all powerful and the supreme being.
Why did he create an angel that could defy him? ( satan )
you cant be ALL POWERFUL and then create something and give it a will and the ability to choose to disobey you. it dosent make any sence.
and if he did do that, then God is SATAN,
because GOD freely gave him the ability to disobey.
So GOD is responsible for all pain and suffering?

This is an old christian gnostic belief.
Essentially it puts Lucifer in the role of Genesis' Prometheus, bringing knowledge to mankind.
Lots of people died in the Albigensian crusade for believing this, so be careful!

You have no idea what you're talking about.
Remember Satan comes as an angel of light. His specialty is deceiving.
