We met over a yr ago and we are always there for each other. She's been acting odd lately I'm assuming because of my involvment with a guy I've been seeing. She is so negative about it, always pointing out what are the faults in her eyes. The same thing happens whenever I meet a new friend. She starts trying to become friends with my friends...it's just very odd to me. How do I talk to her about this and let her know it's bugging me

She is just afraid of being left behind. It is a self esteem problem. Let her know that you will always be her best friend, but you also want a boyfriend and a circle of other friends. Don't leave her out if you can help it, her feeling will be terribly hurt.

Just be honest with her. She obviously has some insecurity issues. Tell her how you feel, and then explain to her that if she doesn't stop, she will lose your friendship all together. Hopefully she'll take the hint.

She is a sensitive girl, have a talk with her. Share your thoughts with her but never be harsh or too directly. Guess she means no harm just being too sensitive and like her thoughts to be voiced out and someone to listen to her.

Don't be too borther by it. Have a good talk with her first.

ooh, thats hard. well is shes really sensative, which by what you say about her, she probly is when is comes to what you think. well, shes probly feeling insecure about your friendship. maybe she feels like she is losing you to this new guy, or to new friends, so she feel like if she talks bad about the guy, maybe you will leave him, and if shes friends with your friends, she can still be around you. You should tell her in a really sweet, but honest way. first reasure your friendship, tell her that you really value your friendship with her, but you dont like it when she talks bad about the men you date.
