I am a full time student about to file my tax return. I will file independent. w/ salary of 24379. I have claimed 0 through the year and really have nothing to itemize. How much should i get back in general. A percentage will suffice.
Thanks

Also i know that i can go online i and look at a tax calculator i have done that already. I have heard somewhere that full time students get more than 25% I thought this assumption was probably wrong but just wanted to make sure before i hit the file button. Thanks to the first person for the smart remark though that was amusing.

This is H & R blocks tax estimator. My return was the exact amount that they estimated on their site. You need to enter your personal info and it will take about 30 seconds to see. Good luck!

A percentage will suffice? You want us to figure out your taxes? Your tax return will be pretty straight forward and simple (I know, my daughter is also a student).
If you can't figure them out, call a tax expert.
