I don't think their should be infinite punishment for definite sins. But I think, if the god thing was true, than god should not have let that person do these things in the first place.
A great person doesn't punish the evil, they change them to good.
The christian god is a real loser for this, and to even begin to comprehend that he is sending people to eternal suffering for forming their own beliefs, is horrifying.

Well, in a way, it's kind of hypocritical the way some use it. They can forgive Hitler easily enough... there's not too many in here that is going to understand what it means to actually go thru something like that. We are removed from the situation, it's easy to forgive it. But you rarely see some act in a forgiving manner towards people who are right in front of them. That's when the fingers are pointing and the blame is being laid.
I have to agree. There are some things that just can't be forgiven. Especially if the person doing it shows absolutely no remorse. I have no pity for such people.

Forgiving and forgetting are two different things. I have been hurt alot in my life and I have moved on a forgave many people for what they have done. I accepted and moved past all of it and allowed myself to heal and not harbor anger over the or the crap they put me through! So I forgave.
Will I forget and further associate with these people or allow them close enough to hurt me agian? HELL no! And if I do asociate with them ever again I will do so forever watching them like a hawk.
If some one raped or killed someone I love Im sure I could forgive them but that doesnt mean I dont want them to get the Justice they deserve either. At that point its out of my hands.

Forgiveness belongs to God. The idea of forgiveness originated from him. He provided it for a people who were bound to fail but would want to seek his mercy and forgiveness. He sent his son Jesus, to be a sacrifice for all our sins. It is through him that we have forgiveness. Because we have been forgiven we can choose to share this foregiveness of Jesus with others.
May I ask who are you to be the judge of who should and should not receive forgiveness. If you want to attack the christian faith...... maybe you should actually know more about what you're attacking first......I have read many posts on here about people being offended by Christians not respecting a belief in no God.....but the respect does not seem to go both ways......as a christian I am appalled by the acts of men like Hitler and of many other people who have taken lives or harmed innocent children.....and it is my belief that one day they will stand before the Lord and he will be their judge......forgiveness is a gift that God gave to us.....we don't deserve it......not one of us......myself included.....and yes i do agree with you that there are many things that cannot be forgiven by man....I don't know if Hitler is in heaven....but I know that God has judged his heart and God does refuse to forgive those whose hearts have rejected him. In my opinion anyone in heaven has been judged as acceptable by God and therefore belongs there as much as anyone else no matter what their sins may have been....

It is not the doctrine of the Christian faith that demands that forgiveness must be given, but by God Himself ! It is in the Lord's prayer, 'forgive us as we forgive', meaning that if we cannot forgive, or more pointedly if we DO not forgive others, God will not forgive us. Jesus Himself gave us the Lord's prayer. Will you argue with Him? Do you actually believe that Adolph Hitler, as evil as he was, received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior? That he was baptised with the Holy Ghost, and therefore will see the kingdom of God? I do not think so. His actions up to the point of his death do not indicate that he got saved. Even Jesus said that many will cry 'Lord, Lord', and He will say to them 'depart from me, I never knew you'. God has it under control. Jesus put forth a certain way in which a man can enter into the kingdom of God. He also said that 'strait is the gate, and narrow is the path that leads unto life(eternal), and few there be that find it.' I doubt that Hitler will be in that few that does. My point: Why concern yourself with things that are God's business? Either believe and follow the teachings of Jesus, or go on your own and be lost.

If people who commit those crimes ASK for forgiveness, this tells me that they've had a change of heart and are asking for a second chance. God would be merciful to grant forgiveness to such as these, and we would be wise to do the same.

Christianity is a means of regulations however the bible isn't the regulation all of us could stay by. residing in accordance to the bible is a call. different religions have different practices and that they are not all enacted into regulations. regulations are enacted in accordance to how human beings vote for what they end is ultimate for society. All regulations infringe on our freedoms whilst attempting to guard us. you do not think of homicide and robbery could be criminal do you? they're biblical regulations. And if what you're employing at is same intercourse marriage then i might say that in case you have faith that homosexuality is sexually deviant habit then you fairly could oppose enacting regulations affirming that it incredibly is popular, authentic? i'm against any regulations forcing electorate to settle for homosexuality.

God will decide all that. We are supposed to forgive anyone who asks. We are even supposed to forgive people that don't ask, because that's just the kind of people we are.

Forgiving someone is not saying it's okay someone did something. It just means you found it in your heart to realize they made a mistake.
