carefully with leather gloves and cat cuffs. Just kidding. really wrap up your cat in a towel keep the head exposed. there is a device (get it at your vetinarian) the pill goes into the plastic device then you insert it into the mouth at the back of the throat and you push the pill out of the device, you will get the hang of it. and it sure does save the fingers. hopefully your cat will take to this. we have two cats, one will swallow the pill and the other cat tries everything to spit it back out. She is quite the difficult cat when it comes to any pill. If your cat eats human food try wrapping the pill in cheese or meat. crush it put it in milk, good luck

Cats suck !! Giving them a pill is horrible.

I would suggest a pill dispenser that you may be able to get at the petstore but certainly from the vet. Wrap the cat in a towel (for your safety) pop it down the throat, hold mouth closed and rub the throat to help them swallow.

You can hold its mouth open with your finger over part of the lip on the side and poke the pill down in back of the throat the hold mouth shut until swallowed , or they make this hollowed out food item that you can slip the pill in and let them eat .

ask the vet if they have a liquid version that you can put into a syringe and squirt into her mouth. if not try putting peanut bitter all over it and see if she will eat that. if not get yourself a pair of clamps (like the ones they use at body piercing places to hold out your skin)you can find these at most pharmacy's) and wrap gauze around the ends. hold your cats mouth open -gently- clamp the pill in there and put it into her mouth toward the cheek and let go...she will more than likely swallow that. or you could crush it and mix it with wet food.

Feed her meaty cat food from a tin, (use gloves its not very nice!) and push the pills into seperate chunks of the food, this way, your cat should eat them with the food without noticing, hope this is some help to u! x

You can make homemade cat treats and put the pill on the inside of each treat. If you grind them up,you have to make sure they are a very fine powder, and mixed with a wet food,so they aren't noticeable. Or you can also coat them in peanut butter,or tuna juice,my cat loved that. Good luck! My cat did this too,but we eventuallly found ways for her to eat them!

you've defined the antics of a cat to purrfection! :) yet I nonetheless love them... Edit: Vets are conscious of the cat-pill situation and are contained in the technique of introducing it interior a similar way as frontline, my vet reported he had tried each thing and at the same time as he talked about this accessible grow to be properly extremely joyful...
