I agree with you, but generally try to say it a little nicer.

nicely, i'm a Christian, and that i will assist you recognize that contraceptives DO halt a regularly organic technique (yet it quite is their objective, isn't it?) and that i do no longer think of that using them is going against ideals, distinctly no longer while you're married. you do no longer could placed your education on carry because of being pregnant, you may proceed to bypass to college! many times, anyhow. If there are problems, then that may no longer be the wonderful thought. yet additionally, if God does want you to have a infant, then you quite will, and if He would not, then you quite wont. there is often benefit to that, yet bear in ideas that intercourse grew to become into designed by using God to proceed the human race, so, to no longer discourage you, in spite of the undeniable fact that it probable is barely a rely of time till now you replace into pregnant. in spite of the undeniable fact that, some human beings have hardship getting pregnant. you extremely do exactly no longer understand, yet at last, confident you ought to have a infant. Contraceptives are no longer unavoidably a sin, so he isn't compromising something by using using them, and neither are you. he's your husband, and you're able to obey him, yet communicate with him (quite, don't get right into a heated argument, considering would not many times bypass a lot of everywhere) and tell him the way you sense, and ask him what he quite skill. communicate with him! stable success :)

I think that calling people's beliefs stupid isn't just or even intelligent. Being judgemental of differences doesn't lead anyone to happiness.
I believe in energy and not god, but there are many beliefs within many different religions that are metaphors and not necessarily to be taken literally. I think that the people who believe in them so deeply, 'feel' that there is something powerful there but don't yet understand what exactly it is, and therefore quote it word for word.
Back then when religions evolved, people lacked the skill to explain their ideas specifically since the vocabulary wasn't very well evolved yet and hence created the metaphors to explain it the best they could. I believe that all the religions have metaphors that fall well into the power of people of which we do not know is possible yet.
I believe the 'end of the world' which is specified in many religions refers to a change in the mind, a kind of a shift where people become more aware and capable of achieving their goals.

If you read the Bible you will find out that the principles and stories are for our instruction and benefit. They knew a lot more that we think, like the scripture that speaks of the earth hanging upon nothing, Job knew that the earth was suspended in space long before space travel, Psalms also speaks of the circle of the earth. people who lived not too long ago used to think the earth was flat. There is a God, his name is Jehovah, and he created everything, the complexity of life did not come about by chance. and if so, can you tell us where the "building blocks " of life, the amino acids and matter that supposedly exploded in the "big bang" come from? I guarantee you that no matter how long you sit a box of air out, it wont explode and create something or change into a box of living creatures. physical things don't appear out of nowhere. If you put a billion blue marbles in a bag and only one red one, chances are, your going to pick out a blue one. Science itself is proof of the irrationality of spontaneous generation and evolution and the like. The things we are capable of have been done already by the creator. Airplanes mimic the bird, the ant is a skilled architect, and so on and so forth.

No and if anything the events that are occuring lately reassures us that what is stated in the Christian religion is completley true. All these events are leading to the return of Christ..and the "people who didnt know any better" were actually men appointed by god to write down his teachings, now why would you choose to believe this life is all there is, if so I think thats an awful trade off...so no its not time people dropped "this stupid belief of God" that is just what the world wants you to think..
No proof?? Look all around you! You think this was all created by accident, the big bang? In my life I have seen God work in ways that make me KNOW he is there, and I dont know if you just have little knowlege of the Christian or Catholic beliefs but by the sound of it, im not so sure if you even know what you are insulting...

We don't have nearly enough knowledge to dis-prove God at this point.
Mankind has only scratched the surface of available knowledge on the earth. We have a bunch more to discover and that is just on the earth. We know next to nothing about the rest of the universe, so saying we have enough knowledge to give up a stupid belief in God is very presumptuous.
I would say that we don't have enough knowledge to prove his existence either. Thats why they call it Faith, but it takes just as much Faith to say he cannot exist.
We just don't know.

I just wanted to let you know that I really don't think it would be a good idea for everyone to drop religion and a belief in God. I honestly think that type of mind control is necessary for some people. They literally NEED to believe a wrath will be upon them for there sins. It keeps them in check. So sad. The world isn't ready to govern itself accordingly. Not yet.

Every 'christian' response proves that they are happy living in ignorance. They are unable to comprehend the most basic aspects of logic. Their magical god is simply a delusion and until they put aside their fairy tales and actually get an education you can expect that their insanity will continue.

It is not possible to disprove the existence of God. But it is possible to show that God is extremely unlikely to exist. It is true that we have sufficient scientific evidence to disprove the stories and miracles in the Bible, but that will not stop people believing in God.

Most of the answers that you refer to are rather dumb. They are just being nasty because of her attitude. Why do you have that same attitude? Did you not have any cereal for breakfast this morning? I believe in GOD. I believe that faith is justified. There is no proof in HIS Existence that satisfies you and there is no proof in HIS Non-existence that satisfies me. Take that to the bank and hold it for a later date. The "stories" that you speak of are sent from HIM to us. They are HOLY WORDs from our FATHER in Heaven and I take offense to HIM being mentioned in that way. Recall, that I did not and have not said anything negative about your beliefs either. Have a great day.

there is no DEFINITE PROOF for either side, Evolution is still JUST A THEROY WITH NO PROOF, and in the same respect there is no ABSOLUTE proof of God...
but the difference is the personal sprirtual relationship that believers feel... they feel something so deep and so true they believe... THEY HAVE FAITH...
~~~I would rather spend my life believing in God and find out that he doesnt exist,
than spend my life not believeing in the Lord and finding out that he DOES exist...~~~
