I know she's supposed to mail it but I don't want her to have my new address, and my previous address was an apartment in a building she owned. It's too late to forward my mail, cuz Im sure she already mailed it, and It's not like I can pick it up. Any ideas. I'm in NY by the way.

Write up a letter authorizing someone else to pick it up for you. Have it notarized by a Notary Public (might cost you $10, but go to your own bank and they might not charge you anything.) Then send that person to pick it up. Hope this helps.

If you don't provide her with your new address, where ever she sent them to will get returned to her and you won't get them. Unless you put in a change of address with your post office when you moved.
The IRS will not have your W2 information in their computer system until July. Best advise call the employer and ask if they were mailed, give your current address.
Other wise you will have to wait until Feb 15th to file a W2 complaint with the IRS, you will need the name, address and phone of the employer, they will send notice to the employer to get the W2 to you. But even then you have to provide your current address to the IRS so that the employer can send it to you
Call after FEB 15th 1-800-829-1040

Have your tax professional request it to their place of business with your consent. You may have to fill out a form 2848 Power of Attorney and Declaration of Representative for this incident only.

good luck and blessing
