Hear all the time, 'eat this but don't eat this' leaving me what to do? Was wondering what is the best way to check whether food is good for you? I.e. the break down on packaging (UK) is that misleading or does it by Law have to be all what is in that food? What fat is good? What sugar is good? Other than that fresh cannot lose I guess.

Apart from being fresh the basics of 'good food' are these.

1) Food without additives, artificial colourings or preservatives.
2) Organic.naturally produced food without the use of chemicals.Free range meats.
3) Food without excessive salt or sugar
4) Food that provides the body's requirements-protein,
carbohydrate, some fat, fibre and the right mix of vitamins. In other words a balanced intake and moderation in the amounts of each foodstuff..

What you read on packaging is only what the producer is obliged to include under legal requirements.Your grocery shop however should contain little packaging anyway if you follow the guidelines above.

try to eat healthy foods. don't worry yourself or beat yourself up because you had a potted meat sandwich every now and again. you sound like you can figure out eventually what is "bad" or you. just keep you colon cleansed so these varmints can't set up house in your system.

I think you should search the web for this. People don't want to write books on here.
