When will/did the end times start?

The tribulatioin will not start until the antichrist is revealed, and the new temple is ready to be rebuilt. According to bible prophecy, Israel had to become a county again, which it did in 1948, and the trib would start during that generation (biblical generation is 70 years, giving us until 2018 for the trib to start). All 12 tribes have to be accounted for to rebuild the temple, (one's still unaccounted for), and then there's that dome of the rock thing sitting on the temple mount that must be removed before the temple can be rebuilt, which frankly, I don't see happening any time soon.

Many christians will fall away when the trib starts, many from the lie of the rapture. They'll think God has forsaken them because they weren't raptured away, never considering that the rapture isn't biblcal anyway. Jesus will return only once, not once to rapture us all away, and then again to finish the final wrath, but once, to take us up right before the final wrath. That whole "no one knows the time, only the Father" is referred to this, not a pre-trib rapture. A pre-trib rapture is the result of wishful thinking, but its not biblical. We will have to survive thru the horrors of the tribulation, we aren't given an easy way out anymore than the disciples were when they were tortured and killed.

In the Bible, when speaking of directions (N, S, E, W) all of these points are from Israel. So when speaking of the North, it means the country of Russia. Back in the Bible times, Russia was called Gog.
