The Catholic Church denied that the Earth revolved around the sun for centuries...despite all evidence to the contrary. Sometimes it just takes people a while. Eventually they'll come around. By then there will be a new issue they can deny.

Sometimes for a brief moment I imagine what it will be like for those who deny Christ when they are faced with Him and think, that will be the sweetest in your face day ever. Then I smile. But, I only feel that briefly because the Holy Spirit doesn't take long and then I am feeling sorry for you again. Wanting you to know the truth. But, I have to admit. Everytime I hear some smart alec remark to Christianity my sin nature takes over and I imagine the hole of hell being opened and you being sucked in. Please forgive me Lord, as I really do not wish this to be anyones fate.
