How do they get all that flavor into the cheetos? It is truely amazing. Anybody know the answer? I know cheese-it's roll a big wheel of cheeze down a hill and it rolls over the little crackers, but I bet that method is already patented, so what method does cheetos use?

It was my beanbag, no worries. And I only sit on the bean bag naked when my closest of friends are over.

So I was laying on my couch naked...when I seen this question. I thought, hey a fellow naked person who also eats cheetos naked. I watched the foodnetwork on cheetos one time. The cheetos go in this big dryer looking thing with lots of powder. Pure genius I tell you. Some other cheeto product I love is the hot fries( not hot cheetos), just don't eat those naked. Bad experience.

They spray a mixture of salt, yellow paint, and cheese-flavored powder over the puffy corn pieces while they are on a conveyor belt after being extruded by the millions. I am not sure that real process is patented but most likely the formula for that yummy mixture is either patented or a valuable trade secret.
As long as you keep eating they will keep spraying so don't worry about them - they are doing OK.

they use that willy wonka transporter ray on little blocks of cheese, they just keep running it back and forth until its really really small then they take the cheeto and they push a bunch of this nano cheese ( industry term ) into the inside of the rawloaf ( un-nanocheesed cheeto) after it is filled they force a loafspike ( thing like a drill bit used to hold rawloaf ) into the rawloaf and it is spun on its axis at very high speed until the centrifical force pushes the nanocheese through rawloaf and nanocheese begins to appear on the surface of the rawloaf trained rats watch for nanocheese and become excited at the apperance of this substance the spike operator alerted to the action of the rats then stops the spike, the nanocheese being forced through the rawloaf causes small cheese deposits throughout the cheeto resulting in the abounding cheese flavor

Actually the only time cheetos are good is when you are sitting on a bean bag naked.

The answer lies with the bean bag. When you place something moist against something that absorbs a type of fusion process begins. EEEWWW...I hope you're the only one that sits on that bean bag.

They showed how cheetos were made on the tv show 'unwrapped'. after the corn goop is 'puffed' (using a patented secret method) they spray on cheese dust.
