I am just curious to find out why I weigh so much compared to my size. Everyone I know swears I can't weigh more than 110 lbs (dripping wet) and my friends that are bigger than me ( 34-29-39 and 5'6" and 22 yrs old; 38-30-39 and 5'3"and 33 yrs old ) only weigh 114 lbs and 119 lbs. I work out using beach body and pilates techniques almost daily for about 30 mins but cannot seem to get below 118 unless I cut almost all carbs from my diet, and than my waist is 25" and my hips 33". I have had two kids (age 12 and 6 so none recently) and am 28 yrs old.

FIRST ... you are perfect according to the size chart for your height. Second ... not every body is they same and i find it hard to believe that those women only weigh 114 and 119 pounds with those measurements. Third... muscle weighs more than fat. Pilates strengthens and lengthens muscles which in turn creates a leaner look but makes you stronger. according to your measurements ... weight shouldn't even be a factor. you are proportioned very well and I'm sure you have a great body no matter what the weight. PS. I'm also 5' 3" and measure 37-27-36 and weigh 128. So maybe it's not you, it's your friends who aren't weighing correctly.

Stop complaining or askinig why. There are too many woman out there who'd kill for your figure & your weight. For being 5'3", 124 lbs. is perfect for you. Some women's bodies are just different from others... no two people have the same body chemistry, so don't compare yourself to someone else because it will get you no where.

Bottom line is start enjoying your body because a few years down the road, you'll be wishing you had cherished your perky chest, small waist, and tight skin.

You don't weigh much at all, but if you weigh more than others that are the same height who appear bigger than you, then it might be because you have more muscle mass due to how much you work out. I'd just be happy as you are, you are a grown woman, why on earth would you want to be 33 inches on your hips?

I'm 5ft2, 120lb and my measurements are 35-27-38.5.

HTH : )

that's normal. do NOT listen to the 'chubby' comment girl. I am 5'6", 130 lbs and my measurements are 36-28-28 and i get told a lot that i'm skinny.

Maybe you are more toned and have more developed muscle, which weighs more than fat.
