IT'S IMPORTANCE:
Self confident, but not a braggart, or cocky!!
Knowing yourself well.
Good Family Morals.
Good Faithful, Honest Person with same family background.
Good Healthy, Mental Outlook.
Someone who is a quick thinker and calm under presure, who won't crack or freak out.
you don't want someone who drinks too much or plays the feild, or has drug problems, this would not be the right job!

Someone who can leave his work at work, and be a regular guy at home.
It's important to know that your work is work, and that when you put your uniform on, then you are the law. you leave that part of yourself at work, so when you come home you are a regular person and can function in society and blend.
I think that's the most important thing.
*my next door nieghbor is a cop, and he's really cool.
and we can talk to him, and ask him anything, and he's a regular guy. you wouldn't know he was a cop, cuz he leaves that at work. he never wears his uniform to or from work.

Pride,Proficiency & Proffesionalizm. A clear finacial history paying your bill on time, clear background no arrests/ convictions no drug use. Basically a clean history. If no clean history----allways good to be honest. Importantance--That you have intergrity & values, and you can be a proffesional both in your personal life as well as your professional life.
