Nail polish remover, followed by water (to dilute and clean up the mess).
White board spray sometimes works, as well.

use a whiteboard marker, color over the permananet ink and immediately wipe it off (you may have to do this a few times to remove the ink totally)...this should clean the white board and not damage it ...after you have removed the ink, use a reconditioner on the board...

use nail- polish or use a washable marker to track over(but it will spoil your marker :S) thinner or eraser(will leave a marking on the board).

Good Luck and I hope you find your answer. I would try Greased Lightening. That stuff is down right amazing. If that will not remove it I am not sure anything will.
