Well my girlfriend and I share what you call a long distance relationship, not very long ago though but we will eventually live together in a year or so.
Yesterday, we were chatting and she wondered if her friend would know i am together with her since i show us in my avatar.
Then I said it wasn't a big deal and she replied that it was for her.
Then logged off, and won't answer phone either...
I know that there are people she doesn't want to know we are together... and I can understand that... but i don't see why making such a big deal.. or am I wrong? At the same time, it sadden me a bit to see that she cares that much about this.
Also would it be good to call her straight off the next day or let it cool off? (as there is no mean for her to contact me at the moment and only I can as I am oversea on holidays moving on different countries)

Seeing the answers for the moment I'd still like to add that she is willing to move from one country to another for me and that we were friend for a long time before going out. I know that she can get moody at times but she is an honest person.
I don't know if it can help clarify the situation...

She is seeing someone else and does not want it to get back to him. There is no other reason a girl would behave this way.

well i duno what to say, im also in a LDR and with a person whos not from the same country or culture. The problem here is that she doesnt answer when you call and just switch off the computor while talking. Its not a way to handle any relationship, and even less a long distance one where communication is even more important. I understand you though, and can see you are very much in love and wish you all the best.

I would say something was up. There should not be a reason why she doesn't want anyone to know your together. Unless she is seeing someone else, though that probably isn't the case. I would definitly confront her and find out why.

Well, I feel like she needs to be let loose!! For 1 thing, she should be happy someone isn't ashamed to claim her ***, plus if you really truly love someone, then you wouldn't care who knew you were together, so I would suggest that you leave her alone before she really breaks your heart.
