daughter throws a fit when i wont let her listen to pretty ricky's unedited CD. im only 19.

im not familliar with his music but at that age i sure would be lettin my child listen to it if it was unedited, id listen to it first if its somethin you dont want her to hear then tell her no if she throws a fit i would ground her from any device she uses to listen to music and take every cd she has and put them away until she listens and doesnt throw a fit and if she still does id take all of them and break them up that will teach her

Fits are simply not allowed. Take the CD from her and tell her that she's not going to see it again for at least a month. Don't let her think for even a second that she's the boss.

Get rid of the Cd show her you are breaking it in half and she will throw a fit for a little while but she wont be bale to after that cuz she will know that it is gone.

You may be only 19, but YOU ARE THE MOMMY. What you say goes. What you don't think is appropriate probably isn't, and you should stick to your guns. Take away anything that you feel she shouldn't be listening to and let her know that if you catch her listening, there will be consequences for her actions. Select a punishment and make sure you stick to it...you are setting the bar for future happenings.

I have my CD's and the kids have theirs. They know if I catch them with my CD's their butts are in trouble. Go get her the edited version if that is what she wants to listen to.

If my 7 year old daughter threw a fit over anything. Pants would come down, she'd go over my lap, and I'd spank her little bottom red.
Do what you wish, that's what I would do.

you have to stop listening, too.
make sure she knows it's not in the house at all.
you could leave it with a friend instead of breaking it.
